Handmade Accordion Envelope Folio with Botanical Ephemera, Tags and Journaling Cards

This handmade accordion envelope folio is a compact little treasure keeper filled with vintage-inspired botanical papers, birds, butterflies, scripted correspondence, and softly aged ephemera.

The folio is constructed from a series of expandable envelope-style pockets, creating plenty of storage without the size of a full journal. A decorative flap and button-and-string closure keep everything neatly contained. The exterior is embellished with layered labels, a blue butterfly, and a vintage “90¢” accent.

Inside is a collection of removable ephemera pieces in coordinating colors and patterns. The assortment includes botanical and bird cards, decorative tags, journaling cards, small envelopes, writing papers, a lace-trimmed booklet, and other vintage-style ephemera. Pieces can be written on, used for photographs, tucked into another journal, or rearranged among the folio’s pockets.

Use the folio on its own as a portable journal, correspondence keeper, or small memory collection. It may also be added to a larger junk journal, scrapbook, altered book, or photo album. Individual pieces can be removed and used throughout another creative project.
